Hiring Operations and Quality Team Leader

We are a Family owned and operated business based in Launceston, Tasmania. We pride ourselves on fabricating quality commercial and custom residential windows and the supply and installation of shower screens, wardrobe sliding doors and balustrading.

With business constantly moving forward and increasing, we are on the lookout for a dedicated, positive person to join our team. Ideally, we are seeking experienced installers/glaziers and factory support, however anyone with carpentry, cabinet making, or trade industry experience should apply as we can and will provide the necessary training.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this pivotal leadership role is accountable for fostering a constructive culture and managing a safe and efficient factory operation. This includes stock control, quality assurance, and maintenance to ensure the on-time delivery of quality products to our valued clients.

About the Role:

  • Manage daily order fulfilments/requirements.

  • Mentor and motivate the team for performance and engagement.

  • Assist in the investigations and resolutions of quality concerns.

  • Stock Control.

  • Packing and storage of incoming goods.               

  • Maintaining clean and safe workplace.  

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Forklift and driver’s license.

  • Experience in similar role, or knowledge of/or experience within the trade industry – highly regarded but not essential.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience leading a small team.

  • Positive attitude and honest.

  • Operational experience of Industry 4.0.
